LandLens Privacy Policy / LandLens

LandLens (Android, com.faruklabs.landlens) by FarukLabs (faruklabs.com) measures land with your phone. Measuring works without an account and without the internet. This page says what the app uses and why. Updated: 21 October 2026.

Location

Used only while the app is open, to take corners and show your place on the map. It stays on your phone in your land files. It leaves the phone only in files you share yourself. No background location.

Camera

Used for camera measuring and corner photos. Photos stay on your phone and go out only in files you share.

Google Play Services for AR (ARCore)

This application runs on Google Play Services for AR (ARCore), which is provided by Google LLC and governed by the Google Privacy Policy.

FarukLabs account (optional)

Only if you sign in: your name, email or phone and a sign-in id (Google Firebase) are kept by FarukLabs on faruklabs.com to give premium. A random id for this phone, the phone model and the app version go with it to manage your devices.

Settings and counts

The app asks faruklabs.com for its settings and sends how many times limited features were used. Problem reports you write are sent with the app version and phone model.

Bluetooth and USB

Used only to connect a GNSS receiver or a total station you choose. Nothing is sent anywhere else.

What we never do

No ads, no selling or sharing of your data, no tracking across apps.

Deleting your data

Land files and photos are deleted with the app or from inside it. To delete your FarukLabs account, use "Delete my account" in the app's account page, or faruklabs.com/account/delete?app=landlens.

Google Play Services for AR (ARCore)

Bluetooth ও USB
